My thoughts on professional Kart racing, in short should have come in years ago. 

Well let’s start at the beginning. Always a good place to start.
I've been in karting for about 10 to12 year’s now, & in that time I have seen some great kids come up, & become great drivers. I am shore I don’t have to mention a few, you probably no more than me. You probably know a heap more kids, that if there parents had more money, they would have gone on as far as many others or even further. How would we know?  Even the kids that have grown up around me, & who have multiple state & national titles to there name, can’t afford the costs to move into a good class in tin tops, or open wheelers. Even some of the rich dads back off at the price. & who can blame them. I’m not saying the motorsport industry is wrong, in what they have to charge these kids to race. But even when they win or come close, they find out the team pockets the prise money to stay afloat.      Then you have the winning racing driver who is payed by the team. The team pays the good drivers that make them money, the drivers that aren’t so good pay. I am not saying that it’s wrong, I’m saying it cost someone, or corporation to pay for him or her to get to this level.  Tough job & most parents’ say it’s too hard, & too expensive. And I agree. So little Johnny that’s been karting since he has been seven years old, that’s formed huge friend ships in the sport, is all grown  up now, has multiple achievements in the sport, who is looking to move on to bigger & better things,     He then finds out,  the real world of motorsport. You rich or poor, that’s it mate. The rich always have a chance, and good on them we need them desperately to pay the bills, on time. No one tells the children growing up, what it’s really all about?  MONEY first, then we will see how good you are. Well it shouldn’t be.

OR SHOULD IT? Professional Kart racing with 50 horse power engines & the best A grade kart drivers that Australia has to offer. Would be as good, or better to watch on TV as any other motorsport, & a whole lot cheaper. The prize money should still be about the same.

YES OF CAUSE, BRING THE CHILD UP IN THE REAL WORLD OF MOTOR SPORT Just about every other sport has a professional top end. Why not karting. What I won’t to do is this; bring the real world of motor sport to Karting. So when the children grow up to this standard, it’s the same in AKA here as Cams is there, rich or poor they have a chance to make it, if not, it’s no surprise, surprise. What I and many people behind me (who will remain nameless at this time) would like to see happen to our sport, is professional Karting. It’s not new. In fact, where one of the last to do it, or should I say start to do it.  In the AKA we have Two Types of karting, club & CIK, or hang on we don’t have a CIK event at the moment do we.    
WHY BE CAUSE IT’S, STILL TO EXPENSIVE, EVEN WHEN RALF TRIED & FAILED,

BECAUSE THE DRIVERS & TEAMS HAVE TO MAKE MONEY! AT LEAST A CHANCE & the system will work. How? One by winning prise money, has to be big enough, & back through the field. Selling & supporting sponsors, T-shirts, hats, posters, engine builders, Karts & part’s ect. Then we have a chance to make money. Ah the real world of making money in motor sport, just like the professionals in V8s, F1, GP, is all run the same.

So what I have done is this. We have put our money where our mouth is. I am now looking for expressions of interest from A grade drivers & teams who think they are it.
Formats to these ten meetings or so could be worked out by us, driver’s, team’s & of cause the AKA.  This Management Company is now looking for 32 to 34 drivers’s, & teams to show some interest.
